Ya it's almost as bad as having 10 million wrapped up in your goalie....who would ever do something that stupid?

I don’t see how this is a great deal. Tavares signed for two extra years, all UFA years, for almost the same amount. Yes Matthews is a better player but as an RFA on a 5 year deal, I think 10 would have been more appropriate.
